Will County’s workforce is slightly more educated, on average, when compared to Illinois and the U.S. The workforce aged 25 years old and older slightly outperforms the state and national averages in distribution of associates degrees, bachelor’s degrees and some college education. Additionally, larger percentages are completing high school with fewer drop-outs.

Will County’s industrial history affords the area an abundance of quality trade craftsmen and skilled workers. And the county’s large and growing population, which has easy-access to a large variety of outstanding educational and training institutions, makes Will County the home to a wide variety of occupations. Thus, providing a 21st century workforce for virtually any industry.
