ProLogis - Will County - an estimated 3,000 new jobs

Governor Blagojevich recently announced the boundary expansion of the Joliet Arsenal Enterprise Zone, which lends critical income and job creation tax credits to companies located within its borders, that will trigger new development or expansion projects that could create an estimated 3,000 new jobs and may spark $300 million in investment.  The Joliet Arsenal Enterprise Zone now includes 770 additional acres of property slated for development as a bulk distribution and logistics park.  Denver-based ProLogis, a leading global provider of distribution facilities and services, plans to build as much as 10 million square feet of industrial space at the park to accommodate regional and super-regional distribution centers.
