It demonstrates Will County cares deeply about transit throughout northeastern Illinois. Comments that were submitted will be submitted for responses in September from the RTA, CTA, Metra and/or Pace.  The RTA board received a preliminary summary of the hearings at their August 21st board meeting and commented favorably about an earlier round of budget hearings being initiated this year to obtain meaningful public input before the agency’s 2009 budget is finalized.   For a copy of the Preliminary Summary presentation, click here.
