John enjoys a national reputation as an economic development professional. During the past 30 years, prior to joining the CED in 2001, Greuling managed the economic development program for the State of Colorado, directed community economic development initiatives in Colorado, Illinois and North Carolina, and headed a private consulting firm providing location assistance to corporations.

Doug Pryor
Vice President Economic Development
Doug leads the CED’s business retention and recruitment program which includes development of leads and prospects, assistance with site selection, incentives, and local municipality coordination. Doug will introduce Will County to clients highlighting the extensive advantages here including transportation, available space and logistics assets. Doug is an Adjunct Economics Instructor at Dominican University. Additionally, he is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in economics, and holds an MBA from Dominican University.

Julie Wilkinson
Vice President Investor Relations
Julie leads the investor relations program, securing resources to fund the annual program of work. Focused on relationships and engagement, she recruits and renews private and public sector revenue while driving messaging to articulate the CED's value. Prior to the CED, Julie led nonprofit fundraising campaigns for healthcare, housing, scholarships, facilities and operations. She earned a B.A. From Illinois College, M.A. from the University of Illinois and is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy from the American College.

Michele Kubitz
Accounting Manager Michele maintains the day-to-day accounting activities for the Will County Center for Economic Development, Will County Economic Development Foundation and Joliet City Center Partnership. Kristin Erickson
Economic Development Project Manager Kristin provides research and support to the VP of Economic Development regarding site selection and business expansion projects. Her additional responsibilities include administrative functions for the Economic Development Council, Annual Business Retention Program, CED events, trainings and meetings.
